A printed lookbook uses tactile paper type, perfect binding and quality images to showcase a new collection, while an online lookbook like an animal print lookbook presents visual content digitally. For sharp fashion lookbook examples, use 300 dpi resolution for every print file. This ensures quality images with clear product descriptions, simple background control and enough content on single pages. High resolution protects important content, especially on the first page, inside front cover and back cover.
TIFF is best for lookbook design because it preserves quality images, quiet area detail and bleed area accuracy. JPEG is an affordable option but may compress visual content. Use TIFF for front cover design, inside back cover artwork and the creation process of your custom lookbook.
We will aim to deliver the finished stapled lookbooks in 3/4 working days and perfect bound in 5/6 after receiving your print-ready artwork. If you are working to a crucial hand in deadline then we strongly advise leaving more time in case there are any artwork issues with your files or courier problems with delivery.
Additionally there can be a day or two of amends required to the artwork before it's print ready which we're more than happy to help with but you'll need to factor that in to timings.
Once we have checked your artwork we will send over an invoice for you to pay by online bank transfer or credit card through Stripe.
Unfortunately what is seen on an RGB, backlit screen is never going to be the same as it appears on paper in cmyk. It's just impossible to achieve that and no printer could. You will have to allow for some difference in the colours between the two mediums but having something tangible in your hands and seeing the images on paper gives the publication a charm that just sending out a pdf wont do.
