This custom size was chosen to give the photography the maximum space on the pages with a decent chunk of white space above and below. The 198 inside pages into 170gsm create a 15mm spine which is ideal to add the title and author’s name on a strong black background.

A Collector's Dream Book

This is a collector’s dream and the sheer completeness of the archive is overwhelming with many iconic names, artists and works featured. Each has a credit underneath in an italic font. This is a good graphic technique and allows the reader to instantly have an appreciation for what they’re looking at. Double page spreads are filled with an image on both sides to draw in the audience and keep them engaged throughout the book.

As a nice touch at the back of the book, the author is seen featured with a lot of huge names from the scene. Ex Why Zed was lucky enough to print this second edition decades after the original.
