Cowabunga Dude!! Ex Why Zed were super proud to print the zines which accompanied the world’s first Keanu Reeves Film Festival! The booklets acted as a programme for the event, listing all the brilliant screenings and side hustles taking place.
The second annual edition, was due to take place on June 19th, 20th and 21st 2020 at Centre for Contemporary Arts, Glasgow, but has been cancelled due to COVID-19. Here’s hoping for a reprise in 2021!

The print spec is a great aesthetic for a stapled zine. A 170gsm uncoated cover is a medium weight paper but just thick enough to make the reader appreciate the weight. The 115gsm uncoated inside pages are fractionally lighter ad easy to turn. We recommend this for an old-school zine feel but of course printing it at Ex Why Zed is much cheaper and less taxing then using a photocopier in the local library. It’s a nice combination between a colour cover and b&w inside page which again, helps reduce the printing cost.
There is also a great adult colouring book double-page spread to fill your time before the films start.
