Kingston University's BA Fine Art course is renowned for fostering creativity and innovation. In 2017, the graduating class showcased their talent and artistic prowess in a stunning catalogue, printed by Ex Why Zed, a leading provider of affordable degree show catalogue printing solutions.

A Canvas for Artistic Expression

The catalogue, titled 'Thinking of You', served as a canvas for the students to display their work. The cover was a vibrant splash of colour, adorned with jazzy gradient typography that immediately drew the eye. The inside pages were a testament to the diverse range of styles and techniques explored by the students, from abstract paintings to conceptual installations.

The Print Specifications

The catalogue was printed as an A5 book, a popular choice for degree show catalogues. The 4-page cover was printed on 200gsm Silk, with a matt lamination applied to the outer surface for a smooth, premium feel. The 40-page text was printed on 130gsm Silk, providing a high-quality finish that made the artwork pop. The entire catalogue was printed in full colour to accurately represent the students' work. Once printed, the pages were trimmed, collated, and perfect bound to create a sleek, professional catalogue.
