Is there a better looking sight in print than white foiling on Ebony Black Colorplan? No, we didn't think so!
When the BA Design students at Goldsmiths University approached Ex Why Zed with their 2014 Degree Show Catalogues they wanted a finished piece of the highest quality to match their University's reputation. We were able to show them a range of premium print solutions and papers which were refined, tweaked and decided upon.
The catalogues have a technical drawing theme which runs throughout and we were keen to feature this in a striking way on the cover. Ultimately we agreed on a gloss spot UV varnish for the line drawings and white foiling for the show's title 'Matter. The two premium finishes combined created a spectacular solution.
