One of our favourite specs from this Summer’s graduate exhibition, the Goldsmiths Fine Art and Art History catalogue exceeds all expectation in terms of design and execution. The choice of cover stock Popset Storm Grey accentuates the simplicity of the design and creates a perfect partnership with the black ink and embossed element. The graduates decided to emboss just the ‘+’ symbol as an indication of their joint show together, and as a result is sublime! The inside text pages are printed onto a thinner Uncoated stock, and much consideration has been given to the layout of the pages combining full scale images alongside smaller centrally placed imagery. This is a reflection of the work, and so again considers each of the graduates individually whilst retaining the show’s identity throughout.
