The graduates were looking for an innovative catalogue design. Being Sculpture students they were excited by designs that were materially distinct and that incorporated different paper types or unusual binding techniques. Working collaboratively with Ex Why Zed, the final print solution was a design that encompassed a ‘half cover’ which effectively separates the bold colour palette of orange and blue, whilst incorporating a distinct cover design. Our Indigo press’s raised text effect has been used on the cover highlighting the names of the graduates, resulting in a subtle but clean and professional finish. The inside text pages continue the simplicity of the design, with images printed onto smooth uncoated stock.
